New Plant & Scavenging Committee.
The Vestry having referred the question of the redistribution
of the work now carried out by the respective
Standing Committees to a Special Committee for report,
such report was submitted to the Vestry on the 28th April
last, when an additional Committee was formed to deal
with all matters relating to Scavenging, Watering, Removal
of Dust, the management and control of the Men, Horses,
Stables, Shoots, Barges, Carts, Plant and Machinery
connected therewith, also the purchase of Horses, Fodder,
Tools and Materials required, to be called the Plant and
Scavenging Committee, who now report as follows:—
ROAD WATERING.
The watering of the Public roads of the Parish has
been executed by the staff and plant of the Vestry.
