That the Vestry receive with deep regret, the intelligence
of the death of Mr. John Osborn Wilson, who was a Member of
this Vestry for the last 21 years, during which time he filled for
3 years the important office of Overseer of the Poor of the Parish,
and was chosen Chairman of the Sewers and Sanitary Committee
for two successive years, all of which appointments he filled with
credit to himself and to the great advantage of his fellow Parishioners.
His devotion to the interests of the Parish, his upright
conduct and kindness of heart, obtained for him the respect and
esteem of his colleagues. This Vestry now offer their condolence
with his family in their heavy bereavement and irreparable loss.
