The Accounts of the Vestry for the year ending the 25th
March, 1888, will be found at pages 151 to 230 of this Report.
They have been examined by the Auditors elected by the Vestry
under the provisions of the Metropolis Local Management Acts.
From the Abstracts and Summaries of Accounts it appears
that the expenditure of the Metropolitan Board of Works and the
School Board for London together exceed more than one-third of
the total amount raised by the Vestry, and it must not be
forgotten that over the items of expenditure of these two authorities
this Vestry has no control.
