Resignation of
Mr. T.G.
Thompson.
Before this Report is published I feel it my duty to
record the resignation of Mr. T. G. Thompson, who
for many years held the position of first clerk in my office; his
talent, urbanity, and attention to the business of the office, and to
the requirements of the Members, obtained for him the good
opinion and esteem of the Members of the Vestry; and they were
pleased to express their regret at losing his services by a Resolution
of the Yestry. His colleagues desiring also to bear testimony to
the regard they entertained for him, presented him with a gold
watch-chain, an inscribed appendage, and an illuminated address.
