SLOPPING, WATERING, &c.

This work has been satisfactorily continued by the Vestry plant, &c., which has averaged as follows:—

The consumption of the fodder per horse per week has. been—

Clover, Mixture, and Hay2.42 trusses.

The cost of fodder, &c. for the year, for the horses in
this department has amounted to £3,326 14s. 9d.
The average cost of the whole of the Vestry Stud has
amounted to 16s. 6d. per horse, per week.
The total expenditure under the head of Slopping,
"Watering, &c., amounts to £14,399 3s. 2d., which includes,
in addition to the ordinary expenses, the charge for the
Barging away the Slop, which in the past year amounted to
the sum of £2,056 19s. 9d.
The cost of the work for the past year is represented
thus:—
