REPORT
OF THE
BURIAL BOARD,
For the year ending March 25th, 1886.
THE BOARD in presenting their Accounts to the
Vestry desire for their information to report that the
Interments still continue to greatly increase, and the
Revenue to advance in like proportion.
In the year 1877 the Interments were 2,250,
Revenue £2,843 16s. 8d.
In the year 1883-4 the Interments were 3,998,
Revenue £3,754 8s. 6d.
In the year 1881-5 the Interments were 4,061,
Revenue £4,420 6s. 6d.
In the year 1885-6 the Interments were 4,335,
Revenue £4,742 9s. 10d.
It will be observed that there has been during the
last year an increase of nearly 300 Interments over the
previous twelvemonth.
The Cash on the Current Account at the Bankers
amounts to £239 10s. 10d., and on Deposit, £3,000.
The large number of Private Graves disposed of during
the year, and the work of apportioning the sum received between
the Board, the Incumbents of the sixteen Ecclesiastical
