Of the 1,327 returned from the sub-district
of Camberwell, 292 occurred in the Workhouse and
91 in two Lunatic Asylums, making a total of 383
which (though appearing in the Mortuary Returns
of this district) no more belong properly to it
than they do to the other sub-districts of the
Parish. In order to determine the death rates
of the sub-districts, it is necessary to distribute these
proportionately among them. This has been done
in Table VII, the last column of which presents the
corrected returns.
