It has been deemed desirable to reduce the
space between the present Lamps in Roads of considerable
Traffic, the present spaces now varying
from GO to 75 yards apart; this alteration will be
carried out only in main thoroughfares, where considered
absolutely necessary.
The following Table will shew the No. of Lamps with ordinary burners now lighted at the cost of the Vestry:—

The Companies contract to light, clean, and
keep in repair all the Lamps as above mentioned.
The annual charge per Lamp for which including
the supply of Gas is as follows:—
