new Tar Paving under a special contract with Messrs.
Hobman & Co.
Also a Tender has been entered into with
Messrs. Hobman & Co., for new work, and for
general repairs to Tar Paved Footpaths.
During the past year your Surveyor has utilized
a part of the Road Labcur for this description of work,
this arrangement will in the future prove very useful
and economical in keeping these Footways in much
better repair than hitherto.
The length of Footpath so repaired by the
Vestry Staff during the year ending Lady-day, 1881,
was about 85 miles run.
ROAD WATERING.
All Roads under the charge of the Vestry were
watered during the past season.
Length 70 1/3 miles.
