Trafalgar Road, north side, from Old Kent
Road to Neate Street.
Nunread Green, south side, between Surrey
Lane and Tappesfield road.—Ground given up for
Improvement of Road and Footpath.
Queen's Road, East and West of Astbury road,
fronting New Shops, (Nos. 107 to 113).
PAVING TRAMWAY MARGINS.
In last year's Report it was stated that the paving
of the tramway margins in the Camberwell Road,
between Boundary Lane and Camberwell Green
was in hand. This work has been satisfactorily completed
by the contractors (Messrs. Mowlem & Co.).
Following on in this description of work, the Vestry
determined to similarly pave the margins in the
Old Kent Road, between Mina Road and the Parish
boundary at White Post Lane, and for this purpose a
loan of £17,000 has been obtained from the Metropolitan
Board of Works. The contract for the work has
been entered into with Messrs. Mowlem & Co., and at
the date of this report the work is well in hand.
