REPORT OF THE AUDITORS
TO THE
VESTRY OF ST. GILES, CAMBERWELL.
June 1879.
Gentlemen,
We have audited the Vestry Rates and Accounts
for the Year ending March 25th, 1879. They are
correct and in order; we have therefore certified them.
We notice the many cases where the Vestry
Rates have been partly or wholly excused, and assume
that this matter has the serious consideration of the
Vestry.
With reference to the Audit generally it is fair
to say that our duties have been necessarily somewhat
mechanical and we feel that great responsibility rests
upon those who have the checking of the details of
the accounts in connection with the works, &c., of the
Parish.
(Signed)
Wm. Taylor Poole
Charles Smith
Henry Bickerstaff
Henry Davies Auditors of the
Vestry of St. Giles,
Camberwell.
