but necessary for me to show the approximate cost
to be met whenever this subject is grappled with,
which is as follows:—
The length of roads in this Parish now under
the charge of the Vestry is about 56 miles, making,
on both sides, 112 miles run of channelling to be laid.
The approximate cost of which would be about
£1,300 per mile run of road—say £70,000.
