"SLOPPING AND WATERING REPORT.
Surveyor's Report upon the Slopping and Watering
Works, now being executed under Contract;
also as to similar works in Division E in hand
by the Vestry, with calculations, data, and other
information for the purpose of enabling the
Vestry to determine as to the method of
executing the same in the ensuing year.

The experience of the past few seasons as to the
carrying out by Contractors of the above description
of WTork, led to the partial adoption (in the District
E.) of the experiment to execute the same with
Plant, Horses, &c., the property of the Vestry, in
order to test the efficiency and economy as against
the Contract system.
