THE REPORT OF THE AUDITORS
TO THE VESTRY,
In respect of the Accounts for the Year ending March 25th, 1875.
In Auditing the Rate Books and Vestry Accounts
for the year ending March 25th, 1875, your
Auditors have to bear testimony to the superior
manner in which those Books and Accounts have
been kept, and also to acknowledge the attention
they have received from Mr. Berry, the Accountant,
and Mr. Blanch, the Assistant Overseer, during the
examination.
Your Auditors regret that owing to the serious
illness of their Colleague appointed for No. 1 Ward,
and the non-attendance of the Auditor lor No. 5,
much extra labour has been thrown upon the
remaining three; thereby greatly retarding the
work and making it impossible to send in an earlier
Report.
