In the above amount is included the Cost of the
erection of 4 Bridges crossing the Grand Surrey
Canal in this Parish; various other Improvements
of Thoroughfares widened and improved, and also
under this head comes the Amount expended in "New
Streets" Works (exclusive of the Cost of Flag Paving),
being of the character of " Street Improvements," as
referred to in the question or Paragraph No. 4.
This Item also includes the Amount expended in
Tar Paving, the particulars of which are as follows:—
Total quantity of Tar Paving Footpath executed,
about 45 Miles.
