In addition to the New Lamps erected, re-arrangements
of the existing ones have been going on during
the last 18 years amounting in number from 600
to 700 alterations of positions, &c.

This return shows an increase in the Mileage of
Roads under the Charge of the Vestry during the last
18 years of 20 miles, the former and present returns
showing as follows —
Length of Roads under charge of Vestry at
January 1, 1856 30 Miles.
Ditto ditto at Lady Day, 1874 52 Miles.
Increased Length 22 Miles.
