TRAMWAYS.
Your Committee reported last year that it had
under its consideration the question of the present
system of working the Tramways in the Parish and that
Plans had been submitted by the Tramway Company,
proposing to make certain Alterations in the laying
the Tram Rails; which proposal, (with other arrangements
in the method of working the Car Traffic)
were fully detailed in the Report of your Surveyor,
and which, for the information of the Parishioners,
was appended. Your Committee regret that delays
have since occurred, preventing the execution of the
Works up to this time, but they still have reason
to believe that these proposed Alterations will be
shortly put in hand.
