All the samples of Jalap, ten in number, were
sufficiently genuine, and quite as good as the best
average ones.
Nine specimens of Disulphate of Quinine
were analysed, and with alike good results.
Certificates of all these analyses accompany
this Report. I can only hope that the work done
will command general approbation.
I remain, Gentlemen,
Yours faithfully,
ALBERT J. BERNAYS.
Chemical Laboratory, St. Thomas's Hospital,
Medical and Surgical College.
