DENMARK HILL,
from opposite champion tark to the
parish boundary.
A road improvement is now in hand, having for
its object the reduction of the sudden decline at the
top of the Hill, by raising the road in portions and
carrying the tailing out of the slope to a point lower
down the Hill.
