"NEW VESTRY HALL."
Your Committee has the satisfaction to report
that, as far as the Structure is concerned, it is
complete. This work, under the direction of the
Architect (Mr. Edward Power, of No. 1, Walbrook
Buildings, City), has been carried on to this point
most satisfactorily, the builders being Messrs. King
and Sons, of Mitre Street, Aldgate.
The matter of the Fittings, Furniture, &c., is
now occupying the attention of your Committee,
with a view to the speedy occupation of the new
building by the Vestry and its Officers (a necessity
which every day becomes more apparent), which
it is believed may be accomplished in time for the
re-assembling of the Vestry after the recess.
GEORGE LEONARD TURNEY,
Chairman.
