CARRIAGEWAYS.
The following streets have been made up with macadam
and steam-rolled:—
Sydney Street.
The Oval.
Old Ford Road (part of).
Globe Road.
Minerva Street.
Kay Street.
Darling Row.
Russia Lane.
Gore Road.
The cubes forming the carriageways of Austin Street
and Pedley Street have been relaid by men in the employ
of the Vestry.
MISCELLANEOUS.
The sum paid the East London Water Works for watering
roads, including use of meters, amounted to £101 9s. 0d.

I enumerate below the principal places where the pipe sewers have been cleansed, and also relaid where found necessary:—
