samples were taken, all of which were found to be genuine.

A detailed analysis of non-genuine samples and the action taken is set out below:-

Tulip Hot DogSausagesContained meat, including fat 61.7%. Under the Sausage and Other Meat Product Regs. 1967 "Frankfurters in Brine' are required to have a meat content of not less than 70% calculated on the drained weight of the sausage. The Analyst was of the opinion that this standard should apply to this product and that the sample was therefore deficient in meat.Referred to Borough Solicitor for legal proceedings.
Low Calorie Vinegar and Oil DressingContained Vegetable Oil 13.7%. Egg Yolk solids absent. Under the Salad Cream Regs. 1966 Salad Cream or Salad Dressing is required to contain not less than 25% of edibleReferred to Borough Solicitor for legal proceedings
