Wide publicity was given to a new poster issued during the year, including
display in Health Department establishments and other Council
premises.
Notification was received from the Department of Health and Social
Security in December that, with the co-operation of the Post Office
authorities, an 'Ansafone' service was to be introduced giving advice on
venereal disease to the general public. This service was expected to become
fully operational in January 1973 and district post offices in the area were
given details of local clinics.

Details in respect of Hackney residents attending the Homerton Grove Clinic, the only one situated in Hackney, are set out below. Some residents from Hackney are known to attend clinics outside the Borough and details from other hospitals are also included:-
