Statistics relating to registration and general inspections are set out below:-

Daring the year 34 notifications of accidents were received, all were
of a minor nature. In no instance was it found that the accident resulted
from a breach of the Act. 114 Notices were served upon occupiers of premises
who failed to complay with the requirements of the Act. The Public Health
Inspectors made a total of 2,059 visits.
