LEGAL PROCEEDINGS
A total of 511 summonses were issued during the year under various enactments
but 243 were withdrawn before the hearing took place. Of the 268
cases remaining 31 cases concerned with nuisances under the Public Health Acts
1936 and 1961 were adjourned sine die.
