I INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD
AND FOOD PREMISES
Milk Supply
At the end of the year there remained on the register 55 distributors of
milk whose premises are situated in the Borough.
Milk (Special Designation) Regulations, 1963
Under the Milk (Special Designation) Regulations, the following Licences
were issued -
Pasteurised Sterilised Untreated

Milk Samples
50 samples of milk were sent for bacteriological examination and all
satisfactorily passed the required tests 15 of the samples were taken from
schools in the borough
Pharmacy and Poisons
The names and addresses of 39 persons remained on the Council's list of
persons entitled to sell Poisons under Part II of the Pharmacy and Poisons Act,
1933

The average composition of the samples of milk submitted during each month of the year was as under:-
