Although the number of patients has decreased slightly, the visits
show an increase, the greater number of visits being paid to the elderly
members of the community.
The Association also administered, on a voluntary basis, the Day and
Night Nursing Service Scheme of the Marie Curie Memorial Foundation using,
chiefly the service for night nursing of specified cases. Under this scheme
10 patients received nursing care, and an additional 6 were provided with
extra nourishment or comforts.
