The causes of death in the two non-pulmonary cases were certified as
follows: -
Male 71 years. Uraemia. Chronic renal failure. Renal Tuberculosis.
Left Haemiplegia and Cerebral arteriosclerosis.
Female 47 years. Anaemia. Uraemia. Renal failure. Miliary Tuberculosis.
In addition 17 other persons on the Tuberculosis Register were certified
as dying from, other causes.

MASS RADIOGRAPHY
During 1961 a total of 11,861 persons were examined by Unit 6B of the
North East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board.
The main survey was carried out between June 6th and July 13th at seven
centres in the Borough, where 4,322 men and 3,850 women attended for miniature
chest X-ray.
