PHARMACY AND MEDICINES ACT, 1941 The provisions of this Act which a local
authority has power to enforce, relate to the prohibition of the publication
of advertisements concerning certain diseases, to the prohibition of the
publication of any advertisement relating to abortion and to the disclosure
of certain information as to the composition of medicines.
The following is a summary of the work carried out under the Food and
Drugs Act, 1955: -
