approximately monthly intervals, and the topics covered included the

Leaflets and bookmarkers on a variety of health subjects were distributed
over the counter of the Public Health Department, and also from
Hillman Street Stores. We were fortunate in having the full cooperation
of the Borough Librarian and his staff in the distribution of
health education material.
Close co-operation was maintained with the Divisional Medical
Officer of the London County Council, and whenever practicable the
topics dealt with in this department were co-ordinated with those dealt
with by the Local Health Authority for the Division. Our thanks are
once again due to the Central Council for Health Education who helped in
every possible way in the provision of display material, and also to the
officers of the North Thames Gas Board who provided films, equipment and
operators whenever requested.
