Ice Cream and Preserved Food.—Samples of ice cream taken in
course of manufacture and during sale have been submitted for
bacterial examination and chemical analysis. The samples submitted
for bacteriological examination were reported upon as
follows:—

Registration of Premises under Section 14, Food and Drugs Act,
1938.—Premises used for the manufacture, storage and sale of icecream
or for the preparation or manufacture of sausages or potted,
pressed, pickled or preserved food, are required to be registered by
the local authority under the provisions of Section 14 of the Food
and Drugs Act, 1938.
At the end of the year the number of premises remaining on the
