Special arrangements for disinfestation arising out of war
conditions.
Arrangements for administration of all medical war
services as centred in Control.
Medical inspection of war refugees and sanitary inspection
of their billets.
I should like to record once more my appreciation of the full
support afforded me by the Chairmen and members of the Public
Health and Maternity and Child Welfare Committees and of the
splendid work of the staff of the Public Health Department under
very trying circumstances. The call-up for service with the Armed
Forces of so many of the staff of the Department has thrown a
considerable burden upon those members of the staff who remain to
carry on.
G. H. DART,
Medical Officer of Health.
