The value of the services given by the Association to the Public
Health Department cannot be estimated from a mere list of cases
nursed. In many homes the services of these nurses have made all
the difference between death and life, chronic disease and return to
good health. The Association is also particularly helpful in
supplying assistance in emergencies at the Clinics.
