The number of successful vaccinations and re-vaccinations performed by the Public Vaccinators and Deputy Public Vaccinators during the year were as follows:—

There were three prosecutions of parents who neglected to have
children vaccinated and fines of 10s. 0d. and 10s. 6d. costs in two
cases and 5s. 0d. and 10s. 6d. costs in the third case were imposed.

No vaccinations were performed during the year by the Medical
Officer of Health or his Deputy under the powers contained in the
Public Health (Smallpox Prevention) Regulations. 1917.
