The information obtained from the survey was tabulated to
show the distribution of the families in relation to the size of the
family and the accommodation occupied. In this table, which
appears on the following page, the figures below and to the left of
the black diagonal line relate to the overcrowded families and those
above and to the right of the line to the families not overcrowded.
Dwellings providing accommodation for a permitted number of
persons in excess of 13 are not regarded as suitable for occupation
by the working classes and have been excluded from this table. In
this respect the figures differ from those given earlier in this
statement.
