There was one prosecution of a parent who neglected to have
a child vaccinated and a fine of £1 was imposed.
A summary of the proceedings under the Vaccination Acts
during the year is given on page 139.
No vaccinations were performed during the year by the Medical
Officer of Health or his Deputy under the powers contained in the
Public Health (Smallpox Prevention) Regulations, 1917.
