REPORT OF THE CANAL BOATS INSPECTOR.
Number of visits to waterways 20
Number of boats inspected —
The reasons why no boats were inspected during the year are
as stated in the report for 1933, namely, the reduced number of boats
consequent upon the increase of road transport and the fact that
the boats are now motor-propelled and pass through the Borough
without stopping.
