Wales during the three years 1930/2 divided into eleven sex.age
groups and applied to the corresponding sex.age groups in the 1931
census population of every Borough, Urban and Rural district in
the country. The comparability factor for Hackney thus arrived
at is 105 and this figure will be used for arriving at the corrected
death.rate of the Borough until the revised population constitution
of the Borough is available from the next census. When the crude
death.rate of the Borough is multiplied by this factor a corrected
death.rate of 12 2 is secured for comparison with the crude death.
