MEAT AND OTHER FOODS.
London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1928: Ice Cream.
—Section 29 of this Act requires that any premises, other than
premises occupied as a factory or workshop, hotel, restaurant or
club, used for the purpose of the manufacture, storage or sale of
ice cream shall be registered with the Council.

During the past year, 292 visits to premises where ice cream
is made, stored or sold were paid by the Sanitary Inspectors and
eight notices were served in respect of unsatisfactory conditions
found.
