MARRIAGES AND MARRIAGE-RATES.
During 1930 there were 1,970 marriages solemnised in the
Borough of Hackney. The rate for persons married during this
period is therefore 18.4 per 1,000 of the population.
The following table gives the number of marriages and marriagerates
for the Borough of Hackney and London during the years
1920-30:-
