(6) Articles of Clothing and Furniture.— The number of
articles under this head disinfected at the Millfields Road Disinfecting
Station was 19,004. This disinfection is accomplished by
means of high pressure saturated steam. The number of articles
thus dealt with was 2,762 more than during the previous year.
In addition to these there were 61 articles destroyed on request
from the owners. These are set out in the following table:—
