BIRTHS AND
DEATHS.
The number of births registered in Bow during the twelve months
of 1896 was—males 674, females 681, total 1355, as against 1423
for 1895, and 1353 in 1894. The excess of births
over deaths in the parish was 500, as against 598 for
1895, and 576 for 1894. The annual birth-rate was
32 4 per 1000, as against 34 per 1000 for 1895, and 32.3 for 1894.
