The following table gives the number of births and deaths (registered) subdivided
into the four Wards of tho Borough. It should bo remenborod that births
are only those which occurred in Edmonton of Edmonton residents; these are
registered in Edmonton. Births which take place outside the Borough are not
included; this fact accounts for the differenco between these figures and those
supplied by the Registrar-General.
The deaths include those taking place outside
the Borough, the information being given quarterly by the Registrar-General.

GENERAL PROVISION OF HEALTH SERVICES IN THE BOROUGH
LABORATORY FACILITIES
These are as described in previous reports. Consideration is being given to a
schcme for enlarging the scope of the laboratory and I hope to report fully on this
matter in 1942.
The following examinations were carried out during 1941:-

Designated Milks are sent to the Counties' Public Health Laboratories. A total
of 119 milk samples were sent, made up as follows :- 70 Tuborculin tested,
7 Accredited, 36 Pasteurised and 6 Tuberculin tested (Pasteurised).
