FERTILISERS AND FEEDING STUFFS ACT, 1926
FERTILISERS AND FEEDING STUFFS REGULATIONS, 1960 AND 1968.
Nineteen Samples of Feeding Stuffs were submitted to the Agricultural Analyst. No sample
of fertiliser was sent.
Sixteen of the samples were found to be within the limits of variation permissible under
the regulations. Four samples contained excess protein and one sample contained insufficient
fibre. On each occasion the Merchant was informed of the discrepancy and warned that he must
ensure that future feeding stuffs were kept within the limits of the permitted variation. However,
as the discrepancies were small and not to the prejudice of the purchaser, further action was
considered unnecessary.
