The Staff who joined at Brixham worked continuously throughout
the night on the passage up-Channel and all notifications to Medical Officers of
Health were prepared and got off by post by the afternoon mail#
The Marseilles address list was similarly disposed of and the whole
operation completed by 4 p.m.
