NOTIFICATION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE.
It being desirable that Chicken-pox, Cerebro-spinal Fever (Epidemic Cerebrospinal
Meningitis) and Acute Polio-myelitis or Acute Polio-encephalitis should be
added to the list of diseases notifiable under Section 56 of the Public Health (London)
Act, 1891, and that the additions should be permanent, steps were accordingly taken to
obtain the consent of the Local Government Board to this course. This was granted,
and the required public notice will be duly published.
