NUTS.
The total quantity o£ Nuts seized and destroyed was 5 tons 10 cwts. 2 qrs., and
included 37 cases and 3 bags of walnuts, 7 bags of hazel nuts, and 30 bags of
Spanish nuts.
PROVISIONS.
The greater part of the tea and cheese included in the following list formed part
of the damaged cargo of a vessel which had been sunk in the River Thames whilst
outward bound. The tea was subsequently used for the extraction of caffeine.
The margarine formed part of the stores of a " Naval prize."
With regard to the condensed milk, 321 cases, weighing 6 tons 9 cwts. 3 qrs. 3 lbs.,
were destroyed, 83 cases and 45 tins, weighing 1 ton 13 cwts. 1 qr. 14 lbs., were used
for poultry feeding, and 43 cases, weighing 1 ton 2 cwts., were released for
confectionery purposes.

leave the district of the Port Sanitary Authority after your Medical Officer of Health
had received a satisfactory guarantee respecting it and the Medical Officers of Health of

GRAIN.
