RABBITS (Frozen).
The condition in which frozen rabbits arrive in this country has shown a marked
improvement in recent years.
Only 80 crates and cases and 86 loose rabbits, weighing 2 tons 1 cwt. 0 qrs. 14 lbs.,
were seized during the year under review.
RABBITS (Tinned).
Seizures of tinned rabbits was limited to two consignments, and resulted in
1,029 tins being found as unfit for food, and destroyed, the total weight being 18 cwts.

POULTRY AND GAME.
Almost the whole of the goods seized under this heading were seized on vessels
"outward bound," which had returned to the port in a damaged condition. The goods
were contaminated with sea water, &c., and putrid. The weight amounted to 2 cwts.
2 qrs. 26 lbs.
FISH.
The considerable increase shown under this heading is due to a cargo of herrings
in boxes, which arrived in bad condition.
