LIVERS.
In my reports for the years 1909 and 1910, reference was made to the number
of diseased and unsound livers which arrived in the Port. During the year 1909
the number seized and destroyed reached nearly 11,000. In 1910 it fell to less
than 2,000, while in 1911 the total was only a few short of 7,000.
The following table shows the results of the examination of certain consignments
of livers.
