The above Table shows the number of cases of infectious disease notified under
the compulsory notification provisions of the Public Health Act. Enquiry has been
made as to the mortality amongst the cases notified, with the result that this is shown
to be about 3'1 per cent., but the figures are obviously too small to be of any value.
